この度は法政大学入学試験の合格、おめでとうございます。
2024年4月に入学予定の外国人留学生（在留資格「留学」※取得予定の方も含む）は以下のお知らせをご覧ください。なお、情報は随時更新されます。
●留学生ガイダンスについて
留学生ガイダンスはハイフレックス(対面＋オンライン)で実施します。在留資格「留学」の方（取得予定の方を含む）は参加してください。
なお、ガイダンス後に、総留学生会と一緒に学生対象の懇親会（～16：30頃まで）を予定していますので、できるだけ対面での参加をお願いいたします。
日程：3月29日（金）13時～14時30分
会場：市ケ谷キャンパス 富士見ゲート G201（市ケ谷・小金井キャンパス所属学生）
多摩キャンパス 総合棟３階 遠隔講義室（多摩キャンパス所属学生）
参加URL(Zoom)：メールでお知らせします。
内容：在留資格、授業料減免、奨学金等の説明、総留会、国際交流サークルの紹介 等

▶【小金井キャンパス生対象】新入留学生向けガイダンス・国際交流会の実施について
●日本に住んでいる方の在留期間更新について ※2024年1月より受付開始
法政大学への入学を決定し、入学手続金の納入が完了した方は、以下リンク先より大学に更新の申請をしてください。在留期限の3カ月前から更新申請が可能です。
※入学前に在留更新する方は、「入学許可通知書」の提出が必要です。下記「●入学許可通知書の発行について」を確認し、発行申請をしてください。入学許可通知書を受け取った後、在留期間更新申請をしてください。
●所属機関に関する届出について
日本の他の機関に在籍し、卒業後すぐに法政大学に入学した者（前校卒業時に届出済の場合は不要です。）は、
以下の書類を入国管理局に提出する必要があります。
※法政大学に在留更新申請した方は不要です。
- 活動機関に関する届出書
- 他の学校から法政大学へ入学
- 書式（PDF/67KB）
※法政大学の法人番号は、 4010005002359 になります。

- 在留カード（郵送で届出る場合はコピーを同封してください。）
また、住居地以外の在留カードに記載のある事項（氏名、生年月日、性別、国籍・地域等）に変更が生じた場合は、14日以内に出入国在留管理局に届け出てください。

●海外在住で在留資格「留学」未取得の方・短期滞在ビザで日本滞在中の方
留学生として日本に滞在するためには、在留資格認定証明書（在留資格「留学」）を取得し、その後、最寄りの日本大使館又は領事館でビザ申請をする必要があります。
大学に在留資格認定証明書の代理申請を依頼したい方は、至急グローバル教育センター（gso@hosei.ac.jp）までご連絡ください。
※在留資格認定証明書の発行には2ヶ月ほどかかる見込みです。申請が遅れると、入学日までに渡日できない可能性がありますのでご注意ください。
●文部科学省外国人留学生学習奨励費 予約者の方
学習奨励費 予約者に決定している方は、EJUオンラインマイページより予約者決定通知を取得し、以下①・②を必ず申請してください。
①大学への申請
入学手続き金の納入が確認できた方に、入学許可通知書をメールでお送りします。※3月25日締切
②Jassoへの申請
入学許可通知書を受取り後、Jassoに入学先の報告をお願いいたします。 ※3月27日締切
※学習奨励費を受給するためには、ゆうちょ口座の開設が必要です。ゆうちょ口座を持っていない方は、早めに口座開設をしてください。なお、在留期限が3カ月以上残っていないと、口座開設はできません。在留期限が3カ月以内に切れる方は、「●日本に住んでいる方の在留期間更新について」に沿って在留更新手続きを行ってください。
●入学許可通知書の発行について
Jasso学習奨励費以外で入学許可書が必要な方は、申請用紙をメール（gso@hosei.ac.jp）でお送りください。
Jassoに提出する入学許可通知書については、上記「●文部科学省外国人留学生学習奨励費 予約者の方」を参照してください。
※大学院入学予定者は、各研究科に発行を依頼してください。
●入学直後の兵役による休学について
母国の兵役義務による場合、入学直後より休学することが可能です。手続きは以下ご参照いただき、休学を決めた場合はグローバル教育センターにメール（gso@hosei.ac.jp）でお知らせください。
▶外国人留学生が兵役による休学する場合の手続き（新入生用）
所定の手続きを取ると、１年目の春学期学費および休学在籍料相当額を大学復帰後に奨学金として支給します。

We will inform you of the procedures for international students enrolling Spring 2024.
This information will be updated as needed.
●Orientation (Guidance)
The orientation for international students will be implemented by HyFlex (both in person and online). Those whose residence status are/ will be “Student” must attend this orientation.
We will held welcome party after orientation, so please participate it in person as you can possible.
Date and Time: March 29 (Fri.) 13:00-14:30
Place: Ichigaya campus Fujimi-gate G201 (students who belong to Ichigaya campus and Koganei campus)
Tama campus Sougou-tou 3F Enkakukougi-shitsu (students who belong to Tama campus)
Zoom URL: Will be informed by email.
Contents: Residence status, Tuition reduction, Scholarship, etc.

▶【小金井キャンパス生対象】新入留学生向けガイダンス・国際交流会の実施について
●Renewal period of your stay for those who are living in Japan
Students who have paid the enrollment fee are eligible to apply for renewing the residence card to Hosei. Please apply by the URL below. Application can be accepted from 3 months prior to the expiration date.
*In case you apply for it before the enrollment, you have to get the “Certificate of enrollment” first. Please check the “●Issuing Certificate of enrollment” as below.
▶Extension of your stay for Spring 2024 new students
●Documents required for a ‘Notification of the Accepting Organization’
If you attend another school in Japan and enter Hosei University immediately after
graduation from that school.
(No notification is required if you have already submitted a notification at the time of
the graduation from your previous school.)
※Not required for those who have already applied for renewal period of your stay at Hosei.

In the event of any change in items described on your residence card other than your place of residence (e.g., your name, date of birth, gender, nationality/region, etc.), please notify the immigration bureau within 14 days.
出入国在留管理局HP 「所属機関に関する届出」
●For those who lives abroad and have not yet obtained “Student” status, or for those who are in Japan with a short-term visitor visa
All international students have to obtain “Student” status by applying a Certificate of Eligibility, COE and need to apply for a visa at Japanese Embassy/ Consulate general in your country.
For those who have not applied for the visa and wish to ask for the proxy application, please contact Global Education Center, gso@hosei.ac.jp as soon as possible.
It will take about two months to issue COE. The delay of your application may causes you not arriving in Japan by the time of the entrance ceremony.
Please keep in your mind that all procedures regarding the residence card need plenty of time.
●Reservation holders of “Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students”
Get your My Page ID by URL below if you are a reservation holder. Then, apply both ① and ②.

①大学への申請 *Deadline: March 25th
After we confirm your enrollment payment, we will email you Certificate of enrollment.
②JASSO Online Form *Deadline: March 27th
With the Certificate of enrollment, register Hosei university as your host institution.
●Issuing Certificate of enrollment
If you are a reservation holder of “Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students” and need Certificate of enrollment, follow as above.
If you are not, email 申請用紙 to gso@hosei.ac.jp for the certificate of enrollment.
For graduate programs, ask your faculty for Certificate of enrollment.
●Leave of absence for the military service after your enrollment
You may take a leave of absence for your country’s military service even from right after your enrollment. If you have a plan to do so, notify Global Education Center, gso@hosei.ac.jp
▶Take a leave of absence for military service (New students)
After all procedures are completed and confirmed, the tuition fee of the first spring semester and an equivalent amount of registration fees will be paid as a scholarship.
