International students participated in the “Cross-cultural project” with Miwada Gakuen High School students

”Cross-Cultural Project” was held at Hosei University, and high school students from Miwada Gakuen Junior high school and high school, as well as our exchange students participated.
At this event, exchange students from eight different countries, the Czech Republic, France, Netherlands, Russia, Taiwan, the U.K., Ukraine, and the U.S.A. attended. They did a lively cross-cultural exchange with high school students.
The event started with a self-introduction of the exchange students, followed by a discussion with Japanese high school students. Through the discussion session, they talked about the differences and similarities between Japan and exchange students’ home countries, what they want to learn from each country, and what they were stimulated by different cultures. At the end of the event, students from Miwada Gakuen made presentations and gave a gratitude speech. They thanked students for teaching them new perspectives and knowledge. Hosei’s exchange students were very satisfied with communicating with Japanese high school students.
