2026年度春学期交換留学生フェアウェルパーティーを開催しました

グローバル教育センターでは、7月22日（水）市ケ谷キャンパス・ボワソナードタワー26階にて『交換留学生春学期フェアウェルパーティー』を開催しました。
毎学期末に開催するこのパーティーは、海外協定校からの交換留学生、本学の派遣・認定海外留学生、国際交流活動に携わる学生・教職員などが参加し、法政大学で半年から1年間留学生活を経験した交換留学生の送別会として開催されます。
当日は多くの学生が参加し、歓談タイムやHUBsコアメンバー主催のレクリエーション企画などを通して、交換留学生と過ごす最後の時間を楽しみました。
表彰式では交換留学受け入れプログラムに最も貢献してくれた交換留学生3名を表彰し、活躍いただいた感謝の気持ちと共に法政大学のグッズもプレゼントしました。
またパーティーの最後には、HOSEI Promotion Projectのメンバーが作成した今期のハイライトビデオを全員で鑑賞し、会場内は思い出に浸る感動的な雰囲気に包まれました。

Voices of Participants： Farewell Party with ESOP and HUBs [Thawanrat Srianan (lia)] (Exchange Student, Thailand)
We had the farewell party at the Sky Hall Boissonade Tower on July 22nd, together with ESOP students and HUBs. This event reminded us of all the valuable experiences and unforgettable memories we gained during our exchange program.
Fun Games from HUBs
We were divided into small groups by the hosts and played quizzes about Japan, including questions about daily life, Japanese attractions, and the activities we had participated in throughout the semester. From April to July, Hosei University organized many events such as watching a baseball game at Meiji Jingu Stadium and having a picnic at Shinjuku Gyoen etc. These activities reminded us of the wonderful memories we made during our time at Hosei. We experienced different seasons in Japan together, including the cherry blossom season (Sakura), hydrangea (Ajisai) season and summertime.
Enjoy Japanese Okashi and Talking with Friends
During this semester, we attended many classes, experienced daily life in Japan and enjoyed many kinds of Japanese food and desserts. At the farewell party, we also had the chance to try Japanese sweets and snacks while participating in activities and chatting with other exchange students and HUBs. Through sharing our cultures and experiences, I believe that both the exchange students and Hosei students gained valuable memories and broadened their perspectives. I was also very happy to hear that some of my friends decided to extend their stay at Hosei University for another semester so they can experience even more of Japan.
Even though the farewell party has ended and most of us will return to our home countries, our friendship and our connection to Japan will never end. I'm sure we will meet again and visit Japan in the future.

The Farewell Party marked the memorable final program of the Hosei Promotion Project.
The event featured a welcoming array of refreshments, including pizza, snacks, and beverages. Students from diverse international backgrounds gathered to enjoy the food while engaging in heartfelt conversations, reflecting on their unique experiences and daily lives in Japan over the past semester.
To keep the atmosphere lively, the program included interactive games tailored to our shared cultural journey. We participated in an audio quiz guessing the functions of familiar sound effects commonly heard across Japan, as well as a visual game where we identified famous locations from cropped photo snippets. These activities brought everyone together for a final round of friendly competition and laughter.
The party concluded with a poignant three-minute highlight video that beautifully captured the defining moments of our three-month exchange life.
Having lived in Korea for 25 years, spending three months actively engaging with students from all around the world was a truly refreshing and transformative experience. It significantly broadened my global perspective and inspired me to embrace new, diverse challenges in the future with greater confidence.
