兵役義務により休学する方へ

在留資格「留学」の外国人留学生が、兵役義務を理由に休学する場合、所定の手続きを取ると兵役から大学復帰後に兵役期間中の休学在籍料相当額を奨学金として支給いたします。
手続きは以下をご参照ください。

※兵役中の怪我等での入院/通院の休学期間がある場合は、奨学金申請に必要になるため、兵役中の怪我等であること及び入院/通院期間がわかる医療機関の診断書を日本に戻る前にご準備ください。

If international students with a "Student" status of residence take a leave of absence for mandatory military service, an amount equivalent to the absence registration fee paid during their service will be provided as a scholarship upon their return to the university, provided they follow the required procedures.

*If you took a leave of absence due to hospitalization or outpatient treatment for an injury or illness sustained during military service, please obtain a medical certificate from the medical institution stating that the injury or illness was sustained during military service and specifying the duration of hospitalization or outpatient treatment before returning to Japan, as this will be required for your scholarship application.
