兵役義務により休学する方へ

在留資格「留学」の外国人留学生が、兵役義務を理由に休学する場合、所定の手続きを取ると兵役から大学復帰後に兵役期間中の休学在籍料相当額を奨学金として支給いたします。
手続きは以下をご参照ください。

• 兵役義務からの復帰に伴う奨学金申請願

※兵役中の怪我等での入院/通院の休学期間がある場合は、奨学金申請に必要になるため、兵役中の怪我等であること及び入院/通院期間がわかる医療機関の診断書を日本に戻る前にご準備ください。

In case that international students with a “Student” resident status take leave of absence for mandatory military service, the students are eligible to receive, as a scholarship, the equivalent amount of tuition fees during the period of absence at the time of return to the university by following necessary procedures.

*If you took a leave of absence due to hospitalization or outpatient treatment for an injury or illness sustained during military service, please obtain a medical certificate from the medical institution stating that the injury or illness was sustained during military service and specifying the duration of hospitalization or outpatient treatment before returning to Japan, as this will be required for your scholarship application.
