Support for Evacuated Ukrainian Students

In view of the current crisis in Ukraine, Hosei University has decided to provide short-term study opportunities in Japan as humanitarian aid to Ukrainian students who have fled the military invasion of their country and who wish to continue their studies in Japan.
The following is an outline of our aid. For more detailed information and application procedure, please contact us using the “inquiry form”.
Eligible Applicants
- University students (including recent graduates) evacuated from Ukraine
- Those who have the language proficiency to take classes at Hosei University in Japanese or in English
Number of Places to be Offered
Several places, as non-degree seeking students (visiting international students, fee paying)
Period of Study
September, 2022 – August, 2023
Support
- Tuition waiver
- Provision of accommodation
- Livelihood assistance
