Global Leadership Training Program In-Person Summit(TOBITATE! Study Abroad Initiative by MEXT(JASSO)): Applications Now Open!

The Global Leadership Training Program (GLTP), which has welcomed over 800 participants from 60 countries, will host its third in-person summit!
This GLTP will be organized by TOBITATE! Study Abroad Initiative by MEXT(JASSO).
Now, facilitators from various countries will gather in Japan to co-create this special three-day program.
※Please contact the organizer directly for inquiries and applications regarding this program.
※There will be no credit recognition or attendance consideration for participating in this program.

Recommended for those who:

  • Want to experience the energy and multicultural environment of an in-person international summit.
  • Wish to discuss “Leadership” with peers from around the world.
  • Seek to immerse themselves in a multinational environment beyond the boundaries of workplace or school.
  • Dream of building a network of friends worldwide that enables you to travel the globe by visiting them.

Program Fee, Dates, locations

The GLTP In-Person Summit consists of a three-day core program and an optional pre-event.
Graduates will receive a certificate of completion.

【Participation fee】
  • Free of charge(Please note that transportation to the venue, accommodation, and meals are at your own expense.)
  • Free Cancellation: Until September 25
    →Please note that cancellations made on or after September 26 may incur actual expenses.

Last-minute cancellations may take away opportunities from others wishing to participate, so we kindly ask for your understanding.

Hosei University, Ichigaya Campus Boissonade Tower, 26th Floor, Conference Room A

【Optional】

Pre-Event: Friday, October 10 | 19:00–21:00
(Informal meet-and-greet; participants may bring their own light meals)

【Mandatory: Full participation required】

Day 1: Saturday, October 11 | 09:00–17:00
Day 2: Sunday, October 12 | 09:00–17:00
Day 3: Monday (Holiday), October 13 | 09:00–17:00

Eligibility

・Aged 19-35 with strong motivation to lead and grow
・Moderate English skills (reading, writing, speaking)
・Good academic/professional performance
・Active in your community or organization (preferred)

②Upon receiving the acceptance notification, you must submit the participation confirmation form. (No response will be considered as withdrawal.)

Application Deadline: September 9, 23:59 JST
Notification of Results: Successful applicants will be notified by September 27
*If the number of applicants exceeds capacity, a selection process will be conducted, and a brief interview may be requested for suitability confirmation. Final participants will be announced before the program begins.
