Scholarship

Hosei University subsidizes the monthly rent (25,000 JPY) for designated dorm as a part of scholarship for exchange students, in the consideration that living expenses including accommodation are comparatively high in Tokyo, especially within central areas.

Insurance

Exchange students must enroll in “National Health Insurance” (Kokumin Kenko Hoken) after arrival,according to the Japanese Government Policy for foreigners who will stay over 90 days.

• Approximately 2,000 JPY per time in average.
• If you receive medical treatment anywhere in Japan, please be sure to take along NHI Certificate. You will need to pay only 30% of the medical costs incurred.
