Issuance of Certificate of school enrollment and Transcript

New students should prepare the documents according to the table below(for students who enrolled in English degree program)

New students

When applying before enrollment

・Undergraduate students should request a university admissions letter from their faculty office.



・Graduate students should request a university admissions letter from their graduate office.

・HOSEI University transcripts are not required.

・Students who enrolled from a Japanese school, including language schools, need a graduation certificate and an attendance record from that school.

・Students who enroll from schools in their home country are not required to submit these documents.

When applying in the fall semester after enrollment

・Issue your certificate at the automatic certificate machine.

★Inform the immigration officer that the HOSEI university transcript cannot be issued yet.

・Students who enrolled from a Japanese school, including language schools, need a graduation certificate and an attendance record from that school.

・Students who enrolled from schools in their home country are not required to submit these documents.

When applying for the first time during the spring break or the spring semester after enrollment

・Issue your certificate at the automatic certificate machine.

However, the issuance of the transcript for the fall semester is scheduled to start in early April, so if you apply in March, please refer to ★.
