West Virginia Wesleyan College faculty and graduate visited our campus

Dr. Coty J. Martin,Associate Professor of Political Science・Chair, Department of Social Sciences・Director, First Year Experience Program at West Virginia Wesleyan College, visited our university along with an alumnus. They held discussions regarding future exchange programs with Vice-President Satoru Matsumoto (Director of the Global Education Center) and staff from the Global Education Center.
West Virginia Wesleyan College is a private liberal arts college founded in 1890.

During the meeting, Dr. Martin provided an overview of initiatives at West Virginia Wesleyan College, including the 'Global Class' program, online courses run in collaboration with overseas universities, such as those in Brazil and international student intake,. The alumnus also shared detailed insights into campus life based on his own experiences.

On our side, staff from the Global Education Center introduced our exchange program, including the curriculum, housing options, and the buddy system. It was agreed that both institutions would continue to explore new avenues for collaboration, including student exchange programs, in the future.
