The Language Cafés jointly hosted a Christmas party.

On December 19, 2025, a Christmas party was held at the G Lounge by the French, German, Spanish, and Chinese Language Cafés!

The Language Cafés are organised by Hosei University students are learning each language, in collaboration with international students from the respective language regions.
This academic year, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian Cafés are being held.

This Christmas party marked the first joint multilingual event, bringing together the French and German Cafés alongside the newly established Spanish and Chinese Cafés, which joined this year. More than 50 participants attended the event, including international students, as well as Hosei students and professors.

To introduce different cultures, traditional foods from each country were prepared. The participants enjoyed “Bûche de Noël” from France, “Stollen” from Germany, “churros” from Spain, and Chinese sweets such as “candied fruit” and “pineapple cakes”. Many of them commented that they enjoyed learning about different cultures through food and meeting people they usually do not have the chance to interact with.
