第50回「東京きものの女王コンテスト」で本学交換留学生が特別賞を受賞しました（11/6）
2016年11月6日、三越日本橋本店1階中央ホールにて「第50回東京きものの女王コンテスト」（主催：東京きもの振興会）が開催されました。このコンテストは昭和42年から実施されている長い歴史のある大会です。今年は第50回を迎える記念大会として外国人留学生部門が併催されました。
本学からは8名の交換留学生がコンテスト本選の「外国人留学生部門」へ出場しました。当日は色とりどりの振袖に袖を通し、コンテストでは自己PRを日本語で話しました。
外国人留学生部門からは特別賞として2名の学生が選出され、そのうち1名、Pinson Victoriaさん（フランス・西部カトリック大学からの交換留学生）が見事に特別賞を受賞しました。Pinsonさんには主催団体および協賛団体から副賞が贈られました。

・なぜ法政大学の「交換留学生受入れプログラム」に応募したのですか？
I applied ESOP program at Hosei University because I know lots of Japanese people from Hosei University and they made a really good publicity. Furthermore, I wanted to go to Tokyo and Hosei University’s classes were the most attractive to me.
・なぜ「東京きものの女王コンテスト」に応募したのですか？
At first I just wanted to wear a yukata putting on by Japanese people, because in France we do not really know how to put it. When I learned about the final and the fact we will wear real kimono, I wanted to go to the final, but could not think I will achieve this goal, and even less win the award.
・「外国人留学生部門特別賞」受賞後の気持ちを教えて下さい。
After I won the award, in fact I did not realize what happened. I think even now I do not really get how impressive it is to win such a contest. My mother was really proud of me and that made me feel really happy. To be honest, I do not really understand why they had chosen me, but it had made me feel emotions I never had experienced before.
・日本留学中の目標を教えて下さい。
During the study abroad in Japan I want to discover Japan culture by experiencing it by myself. Even if my Japanese is still not that good, I want to become a Japanese teacher in France. Thus I want to improve my Japanese during this semester but also to make many Japanese friends and friends from other countries. About cultural aspects, I want to visit many places, eat many Japanese plates and try every cultural event I will have the opportunity to try.
・最後にメッセージをお願いします。
I really want to thank Hosei University for all opportunities they give us. Without them, my semester would have been a bit empty and I would not had all that chances to experience so many cultural aspects of Japan.
